Welcome Rabbits!

What we have been learning this week

Well, first of all, we would like to thank you all for making us so welcome in your homes. We learned so much information about all of you, which we can use to plan your learning.

We had a super first day at school - we went on a tour of all the important places, met some important people and we began making new friends too!  We also talked about our learning mindset so, instead of saying “l can’t do that”, it is “I can’t do that YET!”  Well done everyone - you are taking in the next step in your learning journey.

Look how good we are on the trim trail! We needed a police officer as there was a thief at the ice cream shop...! We coloured, made cakes and even went fishing, although the water was rather cold!

What we shall be working on next week

Next week we will be continuing to learn our routines, make friends, sing rhymes and read stories. We will count objects and make our fingers stronger with lots of activities. We will explore, pretend and create in lots of ways, and we will be taking turns in games and conversations.

How you can help with home learning

Can you perform your favourite nursery rhyme off by heart? Can you learn a new nursery rhyme?

Can you play a memory game by putting a small number of items on a table, then one person covers up the items and removes one thing. Then the other person gets to look at the items and guess what is missing.

General information

Our apologies for the confusion over the non-issue of water bottles.  As plastic bottles are such an environmental issue, we feel it would be much better to use more robust, reusable bottles that you already have rather than add more plastic waste to the environment. Thank you for your understanding and co-operation in this matter.

Finally, we look forward to seeing you all on Wednesday for your first full-day everyone!  Have a lovely weekend.
