What we have been learning this week
Well, you really enjoyed our story this week of the “Owl babies. “ It gave us chance to discuss nocturnal animals and compare sizes. You acted out the story and really enjoyed the characters.
Your letter learning craft has been lots of fun with autumn hairy hedgehogs and five fingered funny fish.
We enjoyed reading the story of the rainbow fish and discussing what made the fish a good friend in the end, and how we can be good friends to each other.
We are enjoying our new writing shed which is keeping all our writing tools clean, dry and tidy outside - so we would like to say a big thank you to the PTA, as we are already making good use of this.
What we will be working on next week
We will be playing lots of addition number stories. We will begin our unit of RE called “Who travelled to Bethlehem?” whilst practising our début nativity performance.
How you can help with home learning
Keep making comparisons between sizes of objects, and keep practising your letter sound cards. Can you tell your family about the Owl babies story?
