What we have been learning this week
This week in English we have been completing a recount based on our school trip to the Blue Reef Aquarium. The children have also been busy writing their thank you letters to everyone involved with the trip.
In maths we have started to think about subtraction. We have been putting the subtraction problems into stories to help us understand what happens.
This week we have finished off our 'under the sea' topic thinking about habitats and why sea animals are suited to their particular habitat. We will be starting our new topic next week based on gifts.
What we shall be working on next week
Next week we will continue to think about subtraction and we will be working on sentence writing in English.
