What we have been learning this week
This week in English we have been looking at features of a newspaper, and have been learning about adding 'ed' to a word to change it to past tense.
In Maths we have been learning about 3D shapes. We went on a shape hunt around school trying to spot all of the different shapes. We have also been learning how to describe the shapes using language such as face, edges and vertices.
This week in RE the children have thought about Christmas traditions and have learnt about the first Christmas gift given by the 3 Kings.
What we shall be working on next week
Next week the children will be looking at shapes 2D shapes and developing their place value knowledge up to 20. They will be writing their own newspaper report.

The homework focus this week is 3D shapes.
