Badgers enjoy HMS Victory

09.11.18

What we have been learning this week

This week we have been busy writing a recount of our trip to the HMS Victory. Badgers have been using the skills learnt last week with dictionaries to check their spellings and edit their work with their purple pens.

In maths we have been adding 3 numbers together using numbers lines, part whole models and lots of classroom resources.

Also this week Badger class attended a service at the memorial in the village to mark Remembrance weekend.

What we shall be working on next week

Next week we will be working hard on our class assembly as well as thinking about the people who have given their lives for us.

How you can help with home learning

Please see the home learning that has been set this week. In addition please ensure children are reading daily and remembering to bring in their reading records and book every day. You could also start talking to your children about Remembrance Day and what it means.

General information

Class assembly will take place at 2.15pm on Wednesday, 14 November and will be followed by Stay and Share.

A quick reminder - please can you make sure that your child's homework folder is returned to school every week - even if they are only completing the practical portion of the homework that's been set.  Many thanks everyone.
