What we have been learning this week
This week we have been reading a traditional tale from Germany and we have written letters of persuasion to a character in the story! We have been working on punctuation and persuasive language. Our focus in maths has been arithmetic questions and we have worked really hard answering all different types of problems.

What we shall be working on next week
Next week we will focus on a story from South America and we will look at reasoning problems in maths.
How you can help with home learning
Please see the home learning that has been set this week. Please make sure that your child completes and brings in their homework next week and continues to read as often as possible at home with you at home. You can also encourage your child to practice spelling the common exception words which were given out earlier in the year.
