What we have been learning this week
We love book week! It has been so very busy - we were inspired by author Marcia Williams visit on Monday.
Then you may have heard something very strange happened on Tuesday, there was a big mess in the hall along with some very large items and a business card! We are not sure who or why this had happened - we were using our noticing, imagination and questioning tools. We then wrote letters to the giant who we believed had made the mess. You were all fantastic writers and you decided you wanted to write to the giant to tell him off for making a mess or to get him to come back so you could trap him.
We celebrated Shrove Tuesday by making and eating pancakes, we learned a rhyme and read Mr Wolf’s Pancakes.
What we shall be working on next week
We will be exploring the gingerbread man story, and identifying and naming our feelings. We will be using subtraction number stories. This week will also see us learn about Bartimaeus who Jesus spent time with.
