Rabbits hit the trim trail!

29.03.18

What we have been learning this week

Well, a short but full week this week and we had a fabulous time in PE on Monday on the trim trail in the sunshine.  Well done, Rabbits, you used so many learning tools but especially your "sticking at things" when they are tricky.

We have enjoyed putting our learning of the Easter story into practice by building our own models of crosses and tombs.

Oh, and we also enjoyed learning about how chocolate changes when you heat it, and not just when you eat it!

What we shall be working on next term

Next term we will be learning about growth and change for both animals and the seasons.  We will ensure we know all our Phase 3 letter sounds and high frequency words, and we will make sure we are counting carefully and using shape names whenever we can.

How you can help with home learning

Why not go on a Spring walk looking for signs of new life?  Count your Easter eggs. If you visit a farm, look at all the baby animals and name them.

General information

As you know, Rabbit Class will be participating in Forest School next term, so can you please send your child to school dressed ready for action on Fridays!  Wellies and a waterproof jacket/cagoule please, along with waterproof trousers (if you have them) - thank you so much.  (A further reminder will be sent out at the beginning of next term.)

Have an amazing, Happy Easter and we look forward to the super Summer Term.
