What we have be learning this week
This week we have been learning about Subtraction in Maths and some of us have started to use pictorial methods to help us work out the calculations. In English we have continued learning about Harry and the Bucketful of dinosaurs - we acted out the story to help us remember it so we could re-tell it in our own words. We have been busily working on our class assembly this week and look forward to sharing our work with you.

What we shall be working on next week
Next week we will be looking at bar models and how to use them to help us work out missing number problems. We have 2 special events next week. Farnham Museum are coming to show us some old toys on Monday, and on Tuesday we have a workshop on the topic of Chinese New Year which we will then do a big write on.

Please continue to help your child to learn their lines for our class poem and help them with recognising odd and even numbers.
