Rabbit Class and porridge and bears!

10.02.17

We have all learnt our alphabet sounds and are now starting to remember the diagraphs.  This week we painted rain pictures for the sound ai and made our own snails.

We weighed teddies in the scales!

We learned the sound oa for which we made boats.  Do you like the team-work used to build this boat?  We even took turns to write the sounds in the word boat to label it.

We finished our term on bears by learning oa to use oats to make porridge - yum, yum!

How do you eat yours?

By using learning detectives each day to recognise learning while we play we are really focused on what we are learning and why.

In book-bags this week you should have received a letter about sharing your proud parent moments with us by filling out a "Wow" note!  We would love to hear what you are proud of and will add them to your child's learning journey. Please return your "Wow" note when you have filled one in and keep the others to fill in whenever you can.

Rabbit Class, you have all worked so hard and we are so very proud!  The class are all looking forward to showing you their first assembly on Wednesday, 1 March at 9.15am.

Have a great half term!
