Ofsted, SIAMS, Pupil Outcomes
In March 2023 Ofsted graded us as "Good" in all areas. See below for just some of the statements we are proud of.
“This is an inclusive school."
“Learning is purposeful.”
“Pupils are articulate and enthusiastic about their learning.”
“Behaviour around school is calm and productive.”
“The vision that reading unlocks learning for pupils is shared by all.”
“The curriculum is well designed to meet the needs of all pupils.”
"100% of parents would recommend our school."
Parent responses following our report...
"Over three years ago, we chose your school because of the magic you create and the love and kindness that fills its walls. We haven't looked back and couldn't ask for more for our children."
"We are very proud of the wonderful culture you have created at St John’s and it’s great to see it officially recognised here."
"We are very lucky to have such great leaders, teachers and children for our own little ones to learn from and with."
In a similar way to Ofsted, all Church of England schools are inspected, with the criteria for inspection rigorous and challenging. In accordance with the Section 48 Inspection (under the 2005 Education Act), St John’s School achieved the highest possible overall grade of ‘Excellent’. These are just some of the statements contained in the SIAMS report that we are proud of :
"The Christian vision is the heartbeat of this excellent Church school. As a result, pupils and adults flourish exceptionally well."
"Parents share their admiration for how the school ensures pupils develop tolerance and dignity from a very young age."
