Rabbits and their first school Nativity!

15.12.17

What we have been learning this week

We have had such fun this week performing in our first school Nativity. We were sparkling snowflakes that twirled and floated to the ground! You were all fabulous and made us very proud.

Also this week we were visited by Tara and the Weyside Assembly Team, and we looked at the symbols of Christmas and what happened at the very first Christmas. We then made the most beautiful angels with fantastic resources provided by the team.  We followed the instructions very carefully. Thank you so much - we love our finished angels.

We have been making our own Christmas cards and even opened a Christmas shop.  Well done everyone with your creative ideas!

What we shall be working on next week

So, for the final week this term we look forward to our Secret Santa shopping for parents' presents on Tuesday, and maybe we will also have a visit from someone special..!  We will continue our work on shapes and patterns.

We are going to be writing to Santa for our very favourite thing, using our phonics so that Santa can read our wishes, and the elves' workshop may arrive in our class to help us practise our present wrapping...!

How you can help with home learning

Please keep reading stories to us as we go to bed - we are very tired and need as much rest as possible.

General information

PE bags can go home any time from Monday.  There is a post box in the classroom if children wish to send Christmas cards to other children in Rabbit Class.  Many thanks everyone.
